2024/2025 - eTRANSIT TESTED EVERYDAY BY PACKAGE PROFESSIONALS
| E-mobility in the CEP segment continues to grow
The courier, express and parcel (CEP) industry has undergone significant changes in recent years, particularly in terms of electric mobility. With the increasing demand for fast and reliable delivery services, coupled with a growing awareness of environmental issues, many companies in the industry have started to convert their fleets to electric vehicles. This is not just a trend, but a necessary response to regulatory requirements and societal expectations.
In the European Union (EU), the growth of electric vehicles is being driven by a number of factors. The EU has set ambitious climate targets to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 55% by 2030. In order to achieve these targets, many member states have started to provide incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles. This includes financial incentives, tax breaks and the development of charging infrastructure.
ATV has been participating in the FORD PRO Converter programme since 2024. As part of this programme, we have developed a new variant of the ATV ECO SHELF shelving system, which is already well established in the market. The shelving system has been installed in a current FORD eTransit van, 3.5 t GVW, version L3H3 with a wheelbase of 3,750 mm. The installation in the vehicle is carried out by the vehicle manufacturer without any pre-fitting (!).
ATV RACKING SYSTEM MAKES THE MOST OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES
| Increasing efficiency - reducing costs
The CEP industry in the EU has recognised that the use of electric vehicles not only helps to meet these regulations, but also offers operational benefits. Electric vehicles are generally cheaper to operate as they require lower energy costs and less maintenance. In addition, they can often be exempt from driving bans for combustion engines in urban areas, which, in conjunction with our ECO SHELF ATV racking system, greatly increases the efficiency of deliveries.
The advantages of the ECO SHELF ATV shelving system:
- Segmental folding on the driver's side / continuous folding on the passenger side
This modular folding system allows the box van to be quickly adapted to other loading situations, e.g. bulky goods
Faster access to the required parcel consignments is possible
2 levels / 4 shelves in new design
Shelf depth top row: 420 mm, Shelf depth lower row: 465 mmShelf length: Maximum utilisation of the loading space
100 kg/lfm. Load capacity
Safety edge and protective profiles on the shelf corners
Better load distribution and securing of parcels help to minimise damage to the vehicle

ATV ACCESSORIES FURTHER OPTIMISE THE BASE VEHICLES
| Sophisticated details make the difference
Well thought-out detailed solutions help to improve logistics processes and increase the satisfaction of both drivers and customers through punctual and safe deliveries.
The ATV accessories offer the following ADVANTAGES:
- ATV partition with revolving door as a passageway to the load compartment and load secur
- Side step under sliding door as an ergonomic entry aid
- Load compartment partition on side sliding door, can also be used as a parcel trolley holder
Robust anti-slip aluminium chequer plate floor in the driver's cab
Ambient lighting when the sliding door is open
Control of the cargo compartment light and electric access door in the dashboard control panel and much more ...
(PLEASE NOTE: All installed accessories are subject to a further development process after the practical test phase. We expressly reserve the right to change the material properties, colour, design and positioning).
2022/2023 - THE FUTURE AUTOMATED WORKPLACE FOR DELIVERY STAFF?
| The CEP Concept Van
The CEP Concept VAN from ATV forms the basis for an automated workplace for the delivery driver. The usable loading volume and shelf space are maximised. The delivery processes supported by the automation. The delivery processes supported by the automation enable efficient delivery. Installation is possible without any special pre-equipment.
Technical description:
- Swivelling-sliding door (e-cab door) instead of the original co-driver's door (fast-running door, less space required next to the vehicle, improved access height with modified steps)
- Optimised interior roof panelling for more headroom in the cab
- ATV partition wall with sliding door (e-slider) as a passageway to the load compartment (electric opening and closing)
- Sliding door offset to the right for improved ergonomics
- Load compartment partition with parcel trolley holder incl. parcel trolley
- Elimination of load compartment sliding door
- Aluminium roller shutter door (e-shutter) with electric drive mounted at the rear
- Sprung rear step
